Excellent roundtable silvananoir1, heroicmuse and ProudTVJunkie. I hate baby test drama too silvananoir1. I'm relieved the baby's not Shawn's but it feels like the damage has been done. Shawn showed that he was more willing to stand up for Jan than for Belle. And Belle proved that she's never as committed to her husband as she should be. But EJ and Belle do have chemistry and I believe they have real feelings for each other. The fact that Rafe and Nicole got married offscreen with no buildup proves that the show is not invested in them and they are just a convenient triangle on the road back to Ericole. I love seeing JJ but agree with heroicmuse that Jennifer treated him like he's an extra, rather than someone who is grieving just as much as the rest of them. While the John/Chad scenes were well done, they fell flat for me since Chad had little-to-no relationship with John and Marlena up to now. To me, it was just a cheap way to give J&M airtime. The name of the boat was stupid and cringeworthy. I'll be glad to see Ciara and Ben go. Their stories were repetitive and have run their course. I will not miss them for even a second. Lani and Eli's departure was rushed, but heartfelt. I agree that Brady's visit to Kristen was weird but Brady HAD to visit her. They are forever connected through Rachel. I was disappointed that Sarah didn't mention the connection that she and Kristen have through Mackenzie/Rachel. |
