Days has a history of being almost non-existent on this award show. I think the reason you see more lately is because there are so few soaps even left. Next years it will be even less to pick from.

It just occured to me that Galen isn't nominated. With all that Rafe2 stuff, I thought for sure he'd at least get a nod. That's terrible that he was not recognized for his fantiastic work.

I have to say I am little disappointed in the lack Days Actors that got pre-noms I thought this was the year where we would see Days Actors get nominations in all six acting categories with James Scott and Crystal Chapelle for lead actor/actress, Matt Ashford and Arianne Zucker for supporting actor/actress, Chandler Massey/Shelley Hennig or Kate Mansi for younger actress. Although 2011 was not a great year for Days story wise there was a lot of great performances.

Galen not being nom'd is a disservice. He was totally believable as two people withhis body language and way he framed his face. He should have at least had a nod.
