You can write without writing. When we talk about writing, many people have a visual image of someone hunched over their computer or writing longhand in a notebook. For them, writing is the work involved with putting words on the page and getting a draft of a novel or memoir finished. Most of my clients don’t have time to do that every day, and that’s okay! As long as you’re consistent, you can write on whatever schedule works for you. But on your days off, you can write without putting a single word on the page. Great ideas, heroicmuse. I do some of my best ideating before falling asleep. I will put an idea for a scene or a conversation/interaction in my head and see where it goes. If I'm alert enough, I grab my ipad from my nightstand and jot a couple notes so I don't forget by morning. |

Great ideas, heroicmuse. I do some of my best ideating before falling asleep. I will put an idea for a scene or a conversation/interaction in my head and see where it goes. If I'm alert enough, I grab my ipad from my nightstand and jot a couple notes so I don't forget by morning. I do the same thing only I have a Remarkable 2 tablet for writing. It never fails. As soon as I'm in bed, the ideas start flowing. |

I had never heard of ReMarkable heroicmuse. I looked it up and it looks very cool. I use my Notes app which doesn't do what the ReMarkable does. |

Someone in a writer's group on FB mentioned they used one and I've had my eye on one ever since. I was finally able to buy it this past month. I love it, especially that it can mark up PDFs. It makes editing my work so much easier because I can mark it up on the tablet. |

I like the feature that lets you save it as typed copy to your computer. At least I think I saw that.

I like the feature that lets you save it as typed copy to your computer. At least I think I saw that. Yes! Its a great feature. I used it to hand write notes for an article I was writing for work and emailed the typed version to myself. |
