Bo Brady's spirit returned to Salem, Tripp's sacrifice defeated the Devil, while Paulina tried to protect her daughter. heroicmuse and I are joined by lumiforeverandalways and soaps4ever to debate Bo's return, the Devil's wrap-up, Xander's lie, Eli's reaction and more...

As usual nice Roundtable.
I think most or all of us are breathing a sigh of relief that the devil storyline has ended (for now).
In life though and soaps like Days just when you think there are brighter pastures ahead something comes along and trips everything up.
The point is does anyone who follows Days think they have finally ditched their silly gene. The point is even though the devil may be gone I think we can all expect some insipid silly storyline(s) to crop up.
Still all told Days in my opinion is off to a great start for 2022 despite all the devil hobgoblins. So, with Days I expect to see the brilliant mixed with juvenilia as we proceed this year.

Nice job, panel!
The way Allie is treating Tripp reminds me of the way Chloe treated Philip -- ambivalent.
Xander's actions make him seem like an idiot and is just done for a foolish, unnecessary plot. Xander has been shackled to a liar and schemer for a year, and if anything, he'd be honest to a fault at this point.
The Bo-Steve connection was the highlight of the week for me.
