Salem's latest double wedding crashed and burned in spectacular fashion! Ava made a deal, which infuriated Gabi, while Chanel and Tripp grew closer.

heroicmuse and I are joined by mikey and André DiMera@andredimera to rate the double wedding debacle, debate Gwen's confession, Chanel and Tripp's new bond, Ava's win, and more!

Nice to see most are on the same page exalting the epic Gwen comeuppance. Also pleased like me many feel that Chloe and Brady have been acting like obnoxious jerks.

I was surprised at the number of characters the panelists want to see exit the show. I can think of maybe a couple of people, but I don't have a long laundry list on that front.

Now that the dust is settling on the wedding blowout, I suspect the fallout should prove very interesting. What concerns me though is how will Days come up with another huge moment like this again this season? Remember the Gwen tale was long brewing and carefully developed. At the moment I can't think of anything other than some Devil stuff but that isn't particularly inspiring.

Time will tell if Days can conjure up another storyline with such a fantastic climax. Something to match the culminating splendor of the wedding scene.

I am appalled that Paulina is okay with TR being around her baby grandchildren. She doesn't know for sure if he still uses drugs and is an abuser. If she chooses to spend time with him she shouldn't involve the babies.

I agree that Chanel and Tripp seem likely to have a rebound fling. I don't see it going beyond that.

I agree! It's one thing for her to give him another chance (which I hate, but I know that happens.) But after giving up her daughter and hiding Lani's very existence from this man for decades, I don't understand how she can let her grandchildren anywhere near him.

Funny that we all seem to have long lists for people we'd like gone from Salem and Days.

My list: Gwen at the very top. Second is the devil. Also: Brady. Nicole. Marlena. John. Allie. Ben. Ciara. Chad. Abby.

Jake (I don’t mind the actor but he’s kinda boring)
Brady
Eric
Rafe
I could do without jan right now
If Ben and Ciara are staying paired together then they can both go
Otherwise split them up and new stories
Clyde
And Clyde again
I’d keep everyone on this list if it meant getting rid of Clyde

Kpatch, I'm surprised at such differing answers. Some people want Xander or Leo gone, but I LOVE them both! And as much as I used to hate Ava, she's won me over since her return. I find these characters fun and generally interesting to watch no matter with whom they're sharing scenes.

Everyone wants Gwen gone, but I could go either way on that. She has potential as a villain.

I want characters gone who bore me. Rafe is a snore. And Nicole has grown boring over time. Chloe and Brady seem to be more filler these days. And Bonnie and Nancy I've just never liked and still don't. If they all left Salem for a while I wouldn't mind at all.

My list was pretty short. Ava, Gwen, and Jake. Maybe Gabi if she annoys me enough.

I seem to love characters that everyone else wants gone though.

I would love to get rid of Sarah, Nicole, Belle, Gabi, and Rafe. Also, I’ve seen enough of Kristen/Susan.

Characters I'd like to see gone:
Bonnie - Adrienne was killed for this? Just so they could immediately turn her into pseudoAdrienne? How stupid.
TR - Could've been so good but not now. Days doesn't need this kind of character. Too bad because William Christian is so good.
Rafe - They refuse to write him well so just send him away.
Nicole - They don't use her full talent so she's boring. Let her add some comedic relief, like Anna, or else send her away with Rafe.
Ciara - There is no purpose for her other than to hang all over Ben. Send her away until they can find an actress (or a writer) who can bring the spirit of Loren Boles back into the character.
Brady - They sobered him up because that got boring. They used him to ruin Phloe and he's still boring.

For me I can only think of one character I never want to see again and that would be fingernails on the chalkboard Susan.

Not a Clyde fan but willing to ride him out here on his "new adventure." Bonnie grates on me and would be next in line.

UhSir mentions two people above that are frustrating me. TR started off resoundingly well but if he is just going to be Salem's next serial killer (sure looks that way) then I can do without him. Such a shame since the actor is obviously talented.

I am a big Brady fan. But dammit to hell they have boxed him in with this road to nowhere relationship with Chloe. And now he has grown obnoxious too along with Chloe. That isn't the humorous fly by the pants Brady I used to like. Maybe it is time to hit the sauce again Brady and get your personality back. Ha. Also bringing back a better version of Kristen (is there such a thing? Ha) and Theresa would make Brady instantly more interesting than he is now. This might seem out there, but I like the idea of Anna and Brady hooking up. I could see some nice sparks flying around on that match.
