Eric Brady returned to Salem! The Devil caused havoc at Ben and Ciara's gender reveal party. Gabi went after Ava while Chloe, Brady, and Sonny continued to target Leo. heroicmuse and I are joined by UhSir to debate the effect of cherry filling, if Ericole or Racole should win out, and who was the most annoying person this week in Salem?

Don't care what gender baby Cin is having. Just don't like them. I do wish they wouldn't name their devil baby after my beloved Bo though which I assume is coming.
Most annoying character award for me goes to Brady and Chloe. Do they have a purpose on the show anymore? How the mighty have fallen.
Racole or Ericole? I am torn. I think Eric/Nicole have great chemistry and I think Rafe/Nicole have a good amount too, but man have the writers messed them all up with tragically terrible writing. So, I am undecided. One thing I am sure of. I hope we don't have to deal with a long, drawn-out love triangle.
And I am in the extreme minority, I know, but I think Gwen is fabulous. Maybe because the actress is so good at being bad lol

That said I hope she finally gets the punishment she deserves. I DEARLY want to see her getting flushed down the toilet. But that doesn't mean I want her off the show. The Brady Chloe pairing is to me unbearable, and I wish Days would give both talented actors something better to do. They need to separate the two and let them start fresh new storylines. |

Gwen was great when she first arrived. I stepped away from the show and missed when the story turned to reveal she's Jack's daughter. I came back after she and Xander were together. There is a big difference in how she's being written now. But she is still likeable. I will be glad when she's away from Xander, mostly because that pairing was written purely to get to next week. We were never given any reason to root FOR them. I hope Gwen will stay in Salem because I do like her. |

Oh, Gwen will get her comeuppance but a part of me still hopes she gets to say to Xander, "hey, didn't I hear you once locked Nicole in a cage?" Because he's not exactly flaw-free himself lol I *do* hope the character sticks around. I think she's fun and can cause a lot of drama.
As for "Broe", I completely agree. I will admit I liked the OG version, but this duo just doesn't work for me on any level. It's physically uncomfortable to watch them together. Eric and Nadia are both really talented performers. Split their characters up & give them something better to do NOW.

Nice conversation. And having some members backing Gwen only goes to show there is a variety of opinions on polarizing characters like Gwen. Gabi is probably another polarizing player, but I wouldn't want either one of them to exit the show.
