HAROLD - I would just like to say it's nice to be back and welcome to the street Allie and Derek
MAL - Nice to have you back Harold and I second that welcome
DEREK - Thanks guys
LUCAS - Since we are doing the whole people have things to say thing before we play a game of street cricket do you think we should tell them Steph
SUMMER - Tell us what?
STEPH - We're getting married
(Everyone begins to hug Steph and Lucas one by one)
ALLIE - Congratulations thats great news maybe we need to do a double wedding
TERESE - How about a triple well one part is a vow renewal
JOSH - You and Dad want to renew your vows?
BRAD - Yeah but we want to do it soon so who knows maybe in the next few weeks
MATT - That's great guys all of you
HAROLD - Now Allie and Derek since you're the newbies you can be team captains
DEREK - Ok sure
(Harold divides them to teams and a game of street cricket starts before a street barbeque)

(Shawn is at the bar and getting served by the bar tender as Caroline is not working today)
SHAWN - Another tequila man
BARTENDER - Are you sure?
SHAWN - Just give me the tequila
(The bartender pours the tequila and Shawn sculls it)
SHAWN - Make it a vodka this time
BARTENDER - This is your last one
(The pub door opens and someone walks over)
SHAWN - I'm a paying Customer if you cut me off that will limit your business and besides it's my Families Pub in case you've forgotten
(Hope approaches her Son)
HOPE - What's going on here?
SHAWN - This jerk wants to cut me off that's what is going on
(Bartender puts vodka in front of Shawn and he sculls it)
HOPE - It's not even mid day and you're drinking
SHAWN - Yep hoping to be drunk soon
BARTENDER - He's being drinking since 9am. I will leave you guys to it
SHAWN - Just because he's gone doesn't mean I won't stop drinking
HOPE - This isn't like you Shawn. What is going on?
SHAWN - Nothing Mom. Can't a guy just want to get drunk without the third degree? If you can't accept that than leave
(Hope walks away and a different bartender comes out and gets Shawn a beer)
PARALLEL OUTSIDE THE BRADY PUB AND POLICE STATION
(Hope has just walked out and grabs her phone out of her pocket and dials a number)
HOPE - Hey Bo
BO - Hope, this is a surprise
HOPE - Yeah
BO - What's wrong?
HOPE - I'm worried about Shawn. I think you need to get down to the pub
BO - Why what's going on?
HOPE - He's drunk and refusing to stop and won't tell me what's happening
BO - What it's not even midday
HOPE - I know
BO - I'm on my way
HOPE - I just hope you can get him to open up
(Hope and Bo end the call)

(Johnny walks in and sees Rafe)
JOHNNY - Hey Man
RAFE - Hey Man. This is a surprise

JOHNNY - If i said I think the DiMera's tampered with my DNA test when I was born what would you say?
RAFE - That it wouldn't surprise me
JOHNNY - That's what I thought
RAFE - Why do you ask?
JOHNNY - I've just noticed somethings and in ways think I'm more similar to Lucas than my Dad
RAFE - Now that you mention it I can see that. But, what are you saying? You think you're Lucas's
JOHNNY - Yeah I think I'm Lucas's not EJ's

(Shawn is drinking a beer just as the bartender places a tequila in front of him as Claire walks over)
CLAIRE - Daddy
(Shawn turns around)
SHAWN - Hey honey
CLAIRE - I didn't expect I would see you today
SHAWN - Well here I am
CLAIRE - Yeah drinking and it not even being past midday
SHAWN - Don't judge me your Grandma Hope's just being here doing that
CLAIRE - I'm not going to because I know why. You and Mom had another fight didnt you?
SHAWN - We did
CLAIRE - I'm sorry Dad
SHAWN - Don't be. Just remember I love you always
CLAIRE - I love you too
(Bo approaches)
BO - Hey Guys
CLAIRE - Hi
SHAWN - Why are you here?
BO - I'm worried about ya my Sailor boy
CLAIRE - I will leave you guys to it. Dad call me
SHAWN - I will
(Shawn takes a sip of the tequila)
BO - This isn't like you drinking before midday
SHAWN - Mom called you didn't she?
BO - She did
SHAWN - She had no right
BO - Actually she did because she's worried and so am I. What's going on Son?
SHAWN - I don't want to talk about it Dad if you want to have a drink with me stay but don't try to get an answer out of me what's going on
(Shawn finishes of the tequila and signals for another. Bo sits next to his son but is reluctant)

Thank you for commenting and reading this week André DiMera here's whats coming up next week Carrie,Sami and Belle have a much needed sister catchup and Carrie and Sami can sense something is not quite right with Belle and she explains things aren't good between her and Shawn right now. Ciara runs into Chad and they talk about all their chance meetings and how it started their unexpected friendship. Carrie and Rafe are having a much needed date when Carrie is reunited with someone from her past. In Erinsborugh Allie finds Steph upset at the garage and Steph confides in Allie that she was thinking about Drew and explains what he meant to her. Back in Salem Lucas checks in on Shawn who informs him things have gotten no better with Belle and having come by to grab some dinner Bo overhears what his Son has just said |
