Thank you all! I had a very nice day. My Mom and step-father just moved back to NJ after a couple of decades in California. So for the first time in many, many years, my Mom made me a special birthday dinner, along with my husband and daughter. Then I splurged on two cakes! A strawberry shortcake and a chocolate cheesecake. And finally, we all hung out and watched the movie Encanto. It's on Disney + or you can buy it on iTunes. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it. It's a beautiful story with great music, and I expect it to be a Broadway show in the next few years.
