It had to happen sooner or later. As soon as Paulina mentioned an ex she never wanted to see again, it was almost inevitable that he would show back up in Salem. And on Days of Our Lives during the week of 1-24-22, he did, freaking Paulina out and throwing her off her game. www.tvfanatic.com/2022/01/days-of-our-lives-review-week-of-1-24-22-ghosts-of-the-past/-- Read the rest on TV Fanatic and then come back and share your thoughts. I urge everyone to check out heroicmuse's weekly recap. I surmise it is his best yet. Bloody brilliant throughout. He even brought up two things that I never considered, and both are exciting scenarios.
The first being Abigail and Sarah escaping just in time to interrupt Gwen's marriage with Xander. Oh man would I LOVE to see that come to fruition. I would savor that like nobody's business.
The second was an EJ and Belle hook up. Have to admit I didn't see that as a positive thing but when you plug in the Sami factor it might all be worth it. Besides Shawn may be mixed up with some Jan drama, who knows? Belle with EJ would fuel an already unsteady sister relationship into the realm of outright hatred. Could be a lot of be fun. Ha.
I must say Belle has been a real star of late. Did anyone catch her smiling glance at Trask after she and Shawn kissed? Talk about a left hook to smug DA Trask's jaw. Plus, her courtroom expertise and talents have been off the charts. And she has backed up EJ through thick and thin. Who WOULDN'T want Belle to represent them in court? Salem is riddled with dumbasses and goofs. Belle at least can lay claim to being the brightest person in town.
