It's almost 2022, so as Breaking Ties heads towards its eighth season (
) I thought I'd check in and ask what you all hope to see happen next year!
As a reminder, here are the storylines that are currently going on:
- Abe and Hope are investigating the gang behind a series of robberies, including recently mugging Ciara
- Ciara is dealing with the aftermath of having been mugged
- Ciara wants to get back in Claire's good graces
- JJ and Paige are adjusting to parenting their infant daughter, including deciding whether or not to have her christened
- Johnny has a crush on Ciara and Sami does not approve
- Cole is attempting to make Bev and Ian look like abusive parents so he can gain custody of Mason
- Andre has brainwashed Orpheus' son into thinking he is Andre's son and asked him to kidnap Nicole and EJ's child, who Orpheus bought for his daughter on the black market
- Roman, John, and Marlena are hunting for Orpheus
- Billie faces an ISA hearing to determine if she committed treason while kidnapped
- Hannah has chosen to make a career out of managing the camera store instead of going to film school, despite her family's disapproval
- Sarah is newly back from rehab and annoyed that her family is pushing her to attend AA and otherwise trying to make sure she doesn't relapse.
- Brady seems to like Sarah and is irritating her by constantly trying to help her stay sober
- Philip yearns to make up for past mistakes and to establish a parent-like relationship with Claire like he has with Parker
- Nancy is unhappy that Joy wants to go into police work and has been pressuring Chloe to talk Joy out of it
- Trask is determined to prove Rafe covered for Kate illegally shooting the pedophile who kidnapped Johnny last year and to arrest them both
- Nicole's interns are looking into whether Trask did something corrupt/illegal to falsely convict Alison's brother of DUI
