This is what I did today.....made hamburger baskets for my grandson Davin's birthday...he specifically asked for hamburger cupcakes.....the buns are white cupcakes and the hamburger patties are brownies with frosting condiments......the fries are sugar cookies and the ketchup is frosting......

I have no idea why my camera has the wrong date on it but I guarantee I made these today...!!!! For anyone interested, I printed off the little trays on heavy paper and folded them and printed the fry wrapper on regular paper and personalize them to my grandson.... I got the patterns and directions at www.bakerella.com/fast-food-fun/

Wow- that is amazing!! I wish I could be creative like that. I am gonna have to start because the kids birthdays are 2 days apart and it is too much to pile 2 cakes on my Mom. She usually makes my daughters cake so it looks like I am gonna have to make the boys cake.

Aw, thanks for sharing the picture of the end user. LOL. You are obviously his very favorite grandma.
I called my husband over to see the picture of your cake art. He bakes too and is not easily impressed but he was in awe.

I did the same thing, N! I showed them to hubby (who is a foodie, just can't cook). He was quite impressed.
