How's everyone's Thanksgiving prep coming?
Mine feels endless and I haven't even done any cooking yet. It's taking forever to get the house company ready. I've already set the table, so that's progress.

I premade my egg roll appetizers. They are a little crispier than I'd like them to be. Maybe they'll get less crispy overnight? I will make the dipping sauce tomorrow. The appetizer plates will consist of 2 egg rolls each, fresh pineapple chunks, cashews and a fortune cookie. And the dipping sauce. I'll take a picture if I remember.

Dessert was what got me too. I made a blackberry pie for the first time, which was a hit, and we also had peanut butter pie, sugar-free cherry pie, sugar-free cheesecake bars, and my dad's homemade cookies. I had a small slice of the peanut butter pie and of course I had to have the blackberry pie since I made it. |

We attended family celebrations on Thursday and Friday. Sami marched in the Santa Claus Parade on Friday morning.
