Seems like nearly every relationship on Days is a triangle and that's been going on for decades. Made me wonder how prevalent that is in real life. So, have you ever been part of a triangle in a relationship?

I actually have been, sort of, and it wasn't fun. I had a roommate who was jealous of my relationship with her boyfriend and didn't want us to be friends. Sort of like Ava/Nicole/Rafe except I didn't actually have any feelings for my friend or vice versa.
I also have another situation I was in that belonged on a soap opera but I'm not sharing that one publicly. Lol

I was in a friend triangle. Three of us were friends. One person became jealous that two of us seemed to be closer friends than we were with her. She quit talking to us and unfriended us on FB. So weird.

Once upon a time yes It definitely belonged on a soap opera but I prefer to leave the details out as it’s not a time I ever want to revisit

Unfortunately, yep. I've been caught in a friendship triangle and was an unknown participant in multiple rumored ones. Someone started multiple rumors. I found out about it later. Sad to say, I wouldn't expect anything less out of the person that started it. Of course the rumor was untrue and fortunately, the other 2 people involved were able to save their relationship and the 3 of us have become extremely close friends. That person showed their true colors not long after the first rumor so any of the rumors they've tried to start since haven't caused my friends any more issues. Then there was the reason for my divorce - he started another family while still married to me. THAT story as well as some of the others were definitely some soap opera worthy ones.

I'm sorry you've had so much drama. For some reason the friendships that go wrong sadden me as much or more than some other relationships that don't end well. I've had several friends that I thought were my best friend and let's just say it turns out they were not. And I've been a part of friendships where I've felt like the odd one out. It definitely is not a good feeling. Thankfully that was awhile ago but of course it hurts to think about it, though not as much as it once did.

Thanks soaps4ever . I'm more angry than anything. The rumors never should have been started. It was by a family member who is married herself. I think it was more of an attention thing and she wanted the guy for herself. I just don't understand why people have to try to cause trouble for others....and she did it intentionally. I hate the odd one out friendships. I've had quite a few of those as well. Here's a video out where Madea (a Tyler Perry character) talks about relationships and compares them to a tree. Very very insightful. I love it and think back to it often and helps me to get back on track. Madea - Let Them Go/Seasons

I love that Madea clip mae00 . Tyler Perry has gone through so much in his personal life and has acquired a lot of wisdom it seems. Great how he is using that character to help people.
