I hate when DAYS rewrites history to make a current story work.
I was just looking up Abe and Tamara's relationship to find out how plausible it was that Abe would think he was Lani's father. I found out two things that don't add up in this story.
1) At one point Lexie found out that Celeste was her mother and not her aunt and Abe supported her through it -- something which NO ONE has mentioned in all this discussion of OMG Abe will never forgive Paulina if he finds out the truth.
but more importantly...
2) When Abe was with Tamara, she was keeping a secret from him: a previous boyfriend was a bad guy named Coleman who was now after her. Abe began investigating this Coleman guy and shortly afterward, Tamara left town to reunite with Coleman.
This one irritates me because in the current storyline, Tamara adopted Lani because Paulina had a dangerous ex-boyfriend. But what about this Coleman guy? Wasn't he dangerous too? And why is it presented as if Tamara is down to earth and normal and Paulina is crazy when it doesn't sound like Tamara was much different than Paulina when she dated Abe?
Do the current writers even know the history? Are they ever going to acknowledge it? Or did they rewrite history so that Coleman became "Ray," Paulina's violent ex and Lani's biological father?
