Chapter 481
Sarah and Maggie were eating dinner in the dining room of the Kiriakis mansion when Xander sauntered in. Sarah’s mouth fell open. “Xander!” She dropped her fork and ran to him, and kissed his lips as she wrapped her arms around him, hugging him as hard as she could. “What are you doing home? I wasn’t expecting you until the weekend.”
He leaned away but she kept her hands on his shoulders. “I thought I’d surprise you.”
Sarah gave him a skeptical look. “What’s really going on.”
“Ah, you know me too well, my love.” He looked over at Maggie. “Good to see you, Maggie.”
“You too, Xander. But I’m sort of curious about what you’re doing home in the middle of the week as well.”
Xander took Sarah’s hand and walked to table. Taking a seat, he sighed. “I received notice today that my services are no longer needed at Titan.” Sarah gasped and he squeezed her hand. “It’s not a real surprise, now is it?”
“I guess not. Still, it’s awful.”
“I’m so sorry, Xander,” Maggie added. “I hate that our family is being thrown out of our own company!”
“Easy come, easy go,” Xander lilted, trying to sound more lighthearted than he felt. “Now I just need to find a new job.”
“I guess we should put off the wedding,” Sarah said sadly. She looked toward her mom. “I booked the Garden Grove for the wedding reception and now that Xander’s unemployed, well, maybe it’s not a prudent idea.”
Maggie got out of her chair. “Then have the reception here,” she offered without a second thought.
“Here?” Sarah repeated. “You mean the mansion?”
“Sure. We’ve thrown plenty parties here.”
“It’s too cold in February to use the pool deck,” Sarah reasoned.
“Well, we could rent some outdoor heaters and fire pits,” Maggie suggested, "but we have a lovely, spacious home that comfortably accommodates up to a hundred guests. We can hold the party in the living room and dining room. Move the furniture to create a dance floor and have a buffet in the dining room.”
Sarah glanced at Xander. “I kind of like that idea. What do you think?”
“I think it’s a far better idea than postponing. Speaking for me, I don’t want to wait another minute to make Sarah my wife.”
Sarah smiled like a schoolgirl. “I don’t want to wait either.”
“Shall I take that as a yes?” Maggie asked.
“It’s a yes,” Sarah gushed.

Maybe running titan media will look good on xanders resume and help him secure something quick enough Wedding plans sound nice and xander is typical man not worrying about the details lol

Chapter 482a
Philip had Camping World pick up the leased RV at the Salem Hills house as soon as he and Parker got home. The RV served its purpose during the road trip but he was glad to be rid of it and was much more comfortable behind the wheel of his BMW X Crossover. As Philip drove past the gate and up the winding road to the Kiriakis mansion, he glanced at Parker in the passenger seat. “Grandma Maggie is going to be so happy to see you. She said to bring you over as soon as she heard we were home.”
“You’re not gonna leave me there, are you?”
Philip’s stomach twisted. “Oh Parker. No I’m not going to leave you there and I’m sorry you even have to worry about that. I’m not leaving you anywhere. Where I go, you go. Where you go, I go. Forevermore. Okay?”
“Okay Daddy.”
~~~
Maggie set a plate of lemon bars on the coffee table in the living room. She turned to Parker on the sofa next to her and gave him a squeeze. “I’m so happy you came.” Then to Philip, who was seated on the other side of Parker, she said, “I can’t tell you how awful I still feel about putting you out. It was wrong and I wasn’t thinking. I was so distraught over losing Daniel that I couldn’t think straight and I know my actions sent you down a terrible path and you and Parker were separated all that time as a result.”
Philip waved her off. “It’s water under the bridge at this point. We all make choices, Maggie, and sometimes they’re the wrong ones. I know I’ve made a lot of mistakes too.”
“You sound like a wise old man. But you’re too young to be so philosophical.”
“I’ve had enough experiences to be an old man.”
“Well, I hope we can get back on the right footing,” she said sincerely. “I just know your father would be so disappointed in me for turning you out. I’ve made this offer before and it probably wasn’t the right time, but I’d like you to consider moving back.”
Glad Philip assured Parker that he’s not leaving him.
It’s great that Maggie apologized again. I can tell she feels bad about what happened.
Honestly I hope Philip says no They have a home now and it’s not the best idea to confuse Parker by moving so much when literally nothing in his life is stable atm I get she’s making a peace offering but timing is bad
I'm glad that Maggie's trying to make amends to kicking Philip out.
So happy that Parker is being reassured by Philip that he's not going to abandon him again. Parker needs that reassurance and will for a while. This poor tragedy has really taken a toll on his safety and mental health. I'm glad Mary is there for him, too.
And, Maggie- I'm glad she's trying to make amends. It was such a heinous thing for her to ask. I hope Philip takes Parker back home, though maybe having family like Xander may help him feel secure. And I have wishful thinking that Xander, Philip, Justin, and Maggie will team up to take down the Shins and rule Titan again.
Chapter 482b
“I’ve made this offer before,” Maggie said to Philip, “and it probably wasn’t the right time, but I’d like you to consider moving back. You and Parker.”
“I appreciate the offer,” Philip stated, a little coldly, “but we have a house.”
“Yes, but this is your house. Your home. Your family home. And you have a built-in support system for Parker here.”
Philip glanced at Parker. “Parker is my responsibility.”
“Of course. And I’m not suggesting he’s not. It’s just like Nicole always has support for Holly as long as they live here. If Nicole isn’t home, someone else is. Philip, I know you’re quite capable of raising Parker on your own, but—. What I’m trying to say is you don’t have to. We all need people sometimes and, well, it helps to know you’re not alone.”
“I wanna move back here, Daddy,” Parker blurted. “Can we?”
Parker’s outburst surprised Philip. “You really want to?”
“Uh huh.”
He patted Parker’s knee. “We can talk about it tonight, okay?”
Their conversation was interrupted by the sound of a gurgling baby. “Look who’s up from her nap,” Nicole said as she walked into the living room holding Holly. “Oh my. I didn’t know we had company. Look who’s here, Holly.”
“Who’s the baby,” Parker wanted to know.
“This is Holly,” Nicole told him. “She’s six weeks old and she’s mine and Daniel’s daughter.”
“For real? Lemme see her.”
Nicole sat down on the coffee table to get closer to where Parker was seated. He stood up and leaned over her. “She’s pretty.”
Nicole laughed. “Check it out, Holly. You already have a boyfriend and he’s a Kiriakis. Nice catch!” Nicole glanced over at Philip whose eyes were glassy as he gazed at the baby girl.
I wonder if Philip will consider moving back in since Parker wants to. It has to be hard for him, seeing baby Holly.
I think Philip will move back in since Parker wants to. Also will be interesting to see any future interactions with him & Nicole.
I hope Philip decides to move back in. Parker's reaction to baby Holly might have done the trick.
I know Parker got excited but honestly I hope they don’t move back in Nicole and Melanie living there is probably not the best idea I still think Philip should stay in the house they have Maggie can still offer support without them moving house Also Philip can afford Nannie’s etc without moving into the mansion
