Gwen tells Chad she’s pregnant with his baby and plans to keep it. Chad asks why she’s doing this. Gwen says she didn’t intend to get pregnant. This wasn’t part of the plan. He knows she spoke to Abby. He wonders if she’s doing this to spite Abby. Gwen assures him that this has nothing to do with Abigail. Now that she has gotten to know Jack, her focus has shifted.
Chad understands this is her choice to make. She does not expect Chad to be part of the child’s life. He says that won’t be possible. He will make sure their child is always welcome in his life and his family’s life.
Abby walks in and announces she knows Gwen is pregnant and is keeping the baby. She could tell by the look on Kayla’s face that it was true. Abby gets emotional when she asks what happened to making amends. She is sure Gwen will use the baby to remind her of all the things Gwen has taken from Abby.
Chad tries to intercede and Abby won’t hear it. Abby congratulates Gwen for succeeding in ruining her life.

Chad keeps defending Gwen and expects Abby to be accepting of all Gwen has done. I don't blame Abby for being furious.I guess he's forgotten how awful he was during the Stefan/Gabby situation. Gwen is getting what she wants, Chad's money and the ultimate revenge on Abby.

I don't know if Gwen is really pregnant with Chad's baby. I still think it's something else, like baby Stefano as someone said. BUT she is really playing up the poor, pitiful victim role big time and she NEVER misses a chance to let people know that Abby wanted her to get an abortion. So there is no way, no how that I believe she is sincere in this wanting to make peace with Abby routine.
Gwen is still Gwen. She has found a new way to get closer to Jack and Chad while making Abby the villain and driving a wedge between them and Abby. She is still envious of everything Abby has and had as a child and I think she wants it.

I know Abigail has every reason to be furious. Gwen tried to ruin her life, and Chad was horrible to her when he thought Charlotte wasn't his but...I keep remembering when Abigail had her affair with EJ. At one point she thought she was pregnant and actually had the nerve to talk to Sami about it (who at the time, had no idea Abby was sleeping with EJ and offered sympathy). How would Abby have reacted if Sami had ordered her to have an abortion?
