Jack vows to stick by Gwen through her pregnancy. Abby enters the room and wants Gwen to repeat what she said about being pregnant with Abby’s husband’s child. Abby doesn’t believe it’s true. Gwen wants to show her the pregnancy test. Abby believes she could fake that. Jack says he was there when she took it. Abby asks if Jack was in the bathroom with her. LOL. Abby asks how she knows it’s Chad’s. Gwen swears she hasn’t been with anyone else since New Year’s and we get to hear about her cycle.
Gwen recognizes she was wrong to blame Abigail for everything that went wrong in her life. She wants a chance to have a relationship with Abby. The pregnancy is the last thing Gwen wants. Abby suggests Gwen terminate the pregnancy. Gwen is stunned. Jack suggests Abby give Gwen some breathing room. Abby reminds Jack that Gwen has found yet another way to ruin her life, but it’s early enough that Gwen can end the horror.
After Abby leaves, Jack brings Gwen some water. He realizes there was no good way for Abby to find out. He tells Gwen it’s her decision and Abigail does not have the right to make it for her. Either way, he will be here for her.

I'm Team Abby on this one. I felt her pain, realizing that the baby will be a reminder of what happened for the rest of their lives.

I'm on Team Jack on this one. While Abigail has an understandable argument, ultimately it is Gwen (and Chad's) decision to have a baby. Though, I don't think it's Chad's. I think Gwen and Rolf were up to something, and Jack will be hurt when he finds out.

I do think it’s Gwen’s decision whether to have the baby and Abby should not suggest otherwise. At the same time, I don’t expect Abby to be able to just keep taking one kick after another. I love that she dropped that on Chad and just left it with him.
I still don’t think Gwen is really pregnant. She’s just using this to make herself a victim and Abby a villain. She’s involving Jack so much. It seems like she’s figured out that this can bring Jack closer to her and cause more problems between him and Abby:

Gwen was chummy with Rolf maybe she’s carrying stefanos clone
Abby lashed out and I get that she was blindsided but it’s not her right to make that decision
I either think Gwen is lying about being preggers or lying about it being chads

The Stefano clone could definitely be a possibility. So Gwen came equipped with a pregnancy test. Jack didn't inspect the box. It could already have been used and showing positive. Like Abby said, he didn't watch her pee on it. I don't buy that as solid proof. |
