Xander opens his door to Paulina and Eli. Paulina is shocked to find her daughter and Xander almost naked. Chanel asks why her mother is there. Paulina was concerned because she never came home, which is why she called the cops. Chanel says there is no reason to be concerned because she was safe and lying next to Xavier. Eli asks, “Who is Xavier?” Paulina pulls her daughter’s robe shut and Eli says Xavier’s name is Xander. Eli asks Xander if he doesn’t think Chanel is a little young. Xander asks how young? Chanel assures him that she is a grown woman who can make her own choices. Paulina points out she chose to jump into bed with a stranger. Chanel says he’s not a stranger, he’s her husband while flashing her ring.
Chanel tells her mother she found a way to support herself just like she told her to. Her husband is a wealthy man. Paulina doesn’t care how much money he has, she will make sure Xander pays for corrupting her daughter. Xander laughs at realizing how little Paulina knows about her daughter. He asks for privacy so he can get on with his honeymoon with his wife, Michelle. Chanel corrects him. Paulina refuses to give her blessing and races out with Eli.
After Xander gets dressed, he tells Chanel he’s not really that rich. Instead of ordering expensive room service, she should probably look at the cereal options.
Eli follows Paulina out to the Square. She asks what kind of man is Xander. Eli can’t think of an answer that won’t make the situation worse.

Did anyone else wait for background ppl to start chanting “jerry jerry jerry”?
Or was it just me?
This totally had a jerry springer vibe to it only jerry springer is a little entertaining at least

This whole thing is ridiculous. Chanel and Xander can't even get each other's names right! I feel bad for Xander. He is heartbroken over Sarah, and Chanel took full advantage of that just to get herself into a position where she doesn't have to work for a living (or so she thinks). I liked the idea of Paulina forcing her daughter to live in the real world and support herself after she was spoiled for so long, but I hate how that led to this farce instead. Hopefully, this marriage will be annulled as soon as possible, and we can forget it ever happened. And hopefully, Sarah will come back someday, or Xander will stop drinking, realize that she really did disappear through no fault of her own, and go looking for her. I hate seeing his character ruined this way and would rather see him go on a search for the love of his life.
