At Basic Black, Brady asks Chloe if she has feelings for him. Chloe asks if Susan told him and he confirms it. She asks if she’s the reason he’s been working from home. Brady says he wanted to make things easier, and avoid the awkwardness, especially as he’s in love with Kristen. Chloe thinks maybe he shouldn’t be. She says he is a good person and a good dad and is throwing his life away by being with Kristen. Besides, she has feelings for him and thinks he feels the same. Very nervously, Brady steps away from her and leaves to check on Rachel.

I didn't like the way this played out. Chloe came off as seeming really desperate. And Brady seems to have no interest at all. This is clearly being written just to cause drama in Brady's relationship with Kristen. Chloe should be pursuing Philip instead. They seemed to be reconnecting when she first came back to Salem around Christmastime, but those relationship-building scenes seem to have been forgotten in favor of creating a Brady/Chloe/Kristen triangle that is painful to watch.

I don't like the forced conversations. People should talk about their feelings when they are ready.

I couldn't help but laugh at the headline of the article Chloe was looking at on her tablet calling Brady the "Brains" behind Basic Black. He can't even figure out that the woman living in his parents' apartment with him is the quote unquote love of his life.
I do think Brady feels something for Chloe but is conflicted because he loves Kristen and feels an obligation to her.
As for Chloe, she cheated on Lucas. She cheated on Daniel. And now she is encouraging Brady to cheat on Kristen. Not her best look.

Chloe is a beautiful smart woman. She shouldn't need to convince Brady to give her chance. She needs to move on.
