After therapy, Abby tells Chad the session made her realize she has to stop Gwen from ever hurting them again. Chad doesn't like that. Jack calls and summons Abigail to his house. Abby goes.
Gwen shows up. She says she knows Abby is talking to Jack. She wants to talk to Chad.
Chad is suspicious. What's her angle? Gwen insists there is no angle. She realizes that Jack has no reason to welcome her with open arms after what she did to his family. Chad says that sounds almost like self-awareness.
Gwen says she is sorry for what she did to Chad. She blamed Abby for Jack abandoning her as a child, but now knows it is no one's fault. She should not have hurt Chad this way. Chad is shocked. Is she actually apologising? Gwen says she is. Chad asks again what the angle is. Gwen says she does have an ulterior motive. Chad says of course. Gwen wants Chad to back her up if she tries to make peace with Abby.
Chad says that Abby knows she can't keep getting dragged into the police station for fighting with Gwen. But Abby is not there yet and may never be. Gwen suggests that perhaps if she is the one to call the truce, Abby will go along with it. Chad isn't sure.
Jack calls and says Abby is ready to broker peace. Can Gwen come over? Gwen goes.

It's hard to tell if Gwen is really sincere she can be such a trickster.
