John sees Marlena in the living room, looking upset. She says Belle just called. Jan is waking up. The doctor told Belle right away.
John says why would they call Belle about that? It dawns on him: because he strangled her. He starts getting all worked up. Marlena says it was not his fault. Jan pushed him and the aneursym made him unable to control his behavior. John says but he wanted to strangle Charlie too. He's angry that he can't remember what happened when he went over there. How does he know he didn't go inside and kill him?
Marlena says you blacked out in the car and came to in the car. John says yeah but there's something he didn't tell her. He says he remembers hearing a gunshot.
