In honor of MyHourglass' 10th anniversary today, I've decided to put together some threads to discuss the events of the last 10 years. In this thread, you can discuss your favorite characters who have been introduced in the last decade. Who over the last ten years have been some of your favorite new characters? Though I hated the way he was later vilified, redeemed and then re-vilified, I really liked Aiden. As heroicmuse and I have shown in our fanfics, Aiden was a character that had so much potential! He could have gone on to become a great character! |

I agree about Aiden. I love Xander. I also like Ben and Charlie because the actors are so compelling. And I like Eli and Tripp a lot. Days does a much better job introducing new male characters than female characters. The newer female characters have been almost universally unwatchable for me, like Haley, Jordan, Gwen, Serena.

I liked Ben as he was a great villain but I find him boring now
Great actor
I also liked Charlie until they made him a rapist
I feel like he could have been a good character that was slightly shady and brooding but not full on psychopath
Hated stefan and hated Aiden and chase beyond belief
I agree that we haven’t had new female characters that were any good
I also like Tripp even though he was over the top in the beginning I like the actor and I enjoy his character now

I agree Aiden had a lot of potential. I hate they messed him so badly.
I also like Jordan, Paige, Haley, Tripp, Deimos, & Charlie (too bad he ended up being so evil).
I think Zoey had some potential but they didn't flesh her out at all.
Xander started out being so interesting, but they ruined him when took all his edges away IMO.
