Wow, and last airdate is next week! Can't say I'll miss her, never warmed up to her as Jennifer. It was jarring to have her step in just as the character was given several emotional scenes.
So is Jack sticking around? Will they split up again because of Gwen/Laura?

I agree with you Andyroo. Cady wasn't bad in the role, but she was never Jennifer, especially being a temporary recast. Not her fault. I hope this means Missy Reeves is reclaiming her role as Jennifer. |

I don't think that Cady did a bad job as Jennifer, but she definitely wasn't Missy. Some of the scenes it was hard not to think about how Missy would have reacted. I will give the casting person credit, when Jennifer, Abigail, and Laura were all in the same room, there was definitely some family resemblance going on. That did help with the transition some. I sure hope Missy comes back tho and they don't bring in someone else.

I liked Cady’s take on Jennifer. She seemed more mature, less flighty. I like Melissa too, so whatever.
I think we are going to be Jennifer-less for awhile.

I wonder why she's leaving now. Was the actress only available for a limited time? Is Melissa Reeves returning soon? Or is Jennifer going to be offscreen for awhile? I think it will be strange not having Jennifer or Hope in Salem.

I was just getting used to her.
She’s definitely very different in the role but I don’t think she did a bad job.It’s hard to jump into a character that is so identified with one actress.
I checked Missy Reeves’ Instagram and don’t see any recent posts either way so who knows.

I too wonder if Missy is coming back as Jennifer or if they get yet another actress to play Jennifer

Maybe they want to let Jennifer grieve offscreen for a little while then bring her back to Salem. Or maybe Cady was only available for a certain length of time.
