Pop-up children are a soap staple. A father discovering late in life that he was robbed of a son or daughter's childhood is a natural source of drama, and there's hardly a man in soapland who hasn't met a surprise child twenty to thirty years after the fact. Many viewers guessed that was Gwen's problem when she first came to Salem, and she confirmed that on Days of Our Lives during the week of 1-18-21. -- www.tvfanatic.com/2021/01/days-of-our-lives-review-week-of-1-18-21-a-crazy-secret-comes-ou/Check out my weekly review on TV Fanatic and then come back and share your thoughts! Don't forget to check back on Sunday for ProudTVJunkie's Round Table.

I liked how you shot holes in Gwen's story. Like a lawyer would! I agree. It is not plausible and I don't have one shred of sympathy for her. I hope she gets outed for being a fool.

I agree completely. Even if EVERYTHING Gwen believed was correct, it sure didn’t give her an excuse to go after her sister who she KNEW didn’t know anything about it. what a weak plot with a secret EVERYONE guessed.
