It was a busy week in Salem with lots of movement on major stories.

The truth came out about Chad and Gwen's night in the Salem Inn, Claire questioned her own judgment, and we learned who kidnapped Lani and Eli's babies.

Our TV Fanatic Jack Ori is joined by sportsgirl and Trey from My Hourglass: A Days of Our Lives Fan Forum to discuss whether Chad and Abigail have a future, Claire's feelings about Charlie, and more on our Days of Our Lives Round Table for the week of 1-11-21.

Thanks for the Round table invite. The only thing I still disagree with is about Tripp getting the DNA evidence. His idea wasn't to use for the cops to convict Charlie, but was to clear his name. The cops can get their own evidence. It must be so hard especially with Kayla who still thinks he may be guilty, to be around these people. Although hothead Nicole already thinks it is now Charlie & not Tripp. She better be part of the Tripp apology tour.

Great topics
On one hand yes Claire was probably a bit hard on herself but honestly she did miss a lot of signs and I don’t mean the fake being sick bit he put on
What about how jealous and territorial he got when she was comforting Ben the day of Ciara’s memorial
He was boarder line psychotic with his behavior
I thought at the time Ben would have figured it out cuz it takes one to know one but we suffered through more of his moping and self loathing instead
I agree with sportsgirl that in real life what Tripp did was not a good idea
But in days stories and Salem having the worst police department I can understand why he felt he needed to do it for himself
But the fact that he was caught could hurt him in the long run as any evidence found could be deemed as planted leading to Charlie walking free which also is a plot in Salem
Guilty people never really pay the price

I don’t want to see Brady and Chloe together as I am not a fan of this Brady, would like Kyle to come back as Rex and try them out though they always had good chemistry
Brady belongs with Kristin as she’s never going to change and he’s just pathetic in every way
Abby should leave chad
I agree with heroicmuse that drunk or not he meant the disgusting things he said about her mental illness and ignored the fact that she was raped as a result of said illness
I still enjoyed her Gwen smack down though, Marci really brought Abby alive in these scenes
My reaction to Ivan and Vivian was yawn
Predictable to the point of boredom
I am with everyone else feeling like I could have done without the kidnapping story but we knew it was coming as it always does
I just hope it’s wrapped up sooner than later
