Chad's world imploded as he realized how Gwen had set him up, Lani and Eli's twins were stolen from the hospital, and Rafe rescued Ava, but Charlie's still on the loose in Salem.
heroicmuse are joined by monicakh to debate who wants those twins, if Chad should 'fess up to Abby, their feeling for Ava, if Chloe should out Philip to Brady, and more!

Great roundtable monicakh, heroicmuse, and ProudTVJunkie. I'm enjoying Ava this time around, but I don't really feel sorry for her. Jake and Kate are a weird pair but at least they seem to be honest with each other which is rare for a soap couple. I don't see them lasting though. Chad's night with Gwen is 100% his responsibility. Consent is not an issue in this case since he willfully got drunk and used it as an excuse to sleep with Gwen. Consent is implicit. I can't wait for Abby to find out. Once she does, I'd love for Gwen to take a hike out of Salem.

I like Kate and Jake better than Jake and Gabi.
I feel like the consent thing is not so much of a thing with Chad because it seemed like he already knew he wanted to to sleep with Gwen -for revenge- before he ever got drunk. He seemed to start drinking almost as a cover or excuse. He was easily convinced that Abby was cheating. He was duped but it didn’t take much.

If chad was still able to say all the disgusting things he did and then beg for sex it was not an issue of consent It’s only an issue if they’re blackout and incoherent Ppl being drunk doesn’t mean rape Last call at the bar is what I called mating hour and they were all drunk and looking for anyone to take home Sorry I’m not convinced it’s non consensual
