Hm. Interesting. So many Vivians. I haven’t been a fan of the character in the past so I’m okay with this. Maybe I’ll like her this time.
I don’t really know Dano’s acting but I feel like she had some talk show with a blond lady and I used to watch it and liked her then. This was decades ago. Does anyone else know what I’m talking about?

I loved Linda Dano as Felicia Gallant in Another World, but why do they keep bringing back Vivian? A character I can't stand.

wendylou , I do remember that talk show. I don't remember the blond though. [Edited to include Wikipedia info.] I guess Louise Sorel isn't up to reprising the role. I sure hope Linda Dano is better than Robin Strasser and doesn't play the role so campy. Vivian always had a sense of humor but wasn't silly.

Yep. Attitudes. I think Nancy Glass is the other woman I remember although it looks like there was more than one.

It's so hard for me to watch someone play Vivian after Louise Sorel. Louise brought the multiple dimensions of the character out in a quirky, crazy way that made sense for that character. I have yet to see anyone else do that. I hope this one can at least get close. Vivian is not a favorite of mine to see on the screen, but her and Victor's interactions should never disappoint. I want an actress that can do those scenes justice.
