What's everyone doing this (unusual) Thanksgiving?
We are having a small gathering. Ron does the bulk of the cooking. I'm responsible for appetizers.
Help! Anyone have ideas for an easy hot appetizer (even one I can make in the air fryer)? I figure I'll do fruit and cheese, but I want an additional fun something.

Get little mini potatoes and wrap them in bacon (I usually hold it together with a toothpick) Totally works in the air fryer I usually do a dip with mayo, Greek yogurt and epicure (3 onion mixed with lemon dill ) alternatively if you don’t have epicure French onion soup mix is nice with it too Wings are great in the air fryer as well as sweet potato fries with garlic mayo dip Nacho dips are great easy apps as well

We are trying to work around my dad's back surgery in a couple of days for all of the dinners and trying to keep traveling for everyone to a minimum between all of the upcoming holidays. My boys will be gone with their dad the first half of the break next week and then I think on Saturday (maybe Sunday), we will load up and head to my dad's to do Thanksgiving lunch at his house since he will still be recovering and doubt that he can drive. When we are done there, then we will head to my moms to do Thanksgiving supper and probably play cards and stuff for a while.
A great appetizer are the little smokies wrapped in bacon and baked with brown sugar on top of them. We LOVE them and I don't ever bring any leftovers of that home.

We're either staying home and ignoring the day or going to my in-laws house. I guess it will depend on which of my girls is able to persuade the other.

We are staying home. Trying to decide between turkey or pot roast.

Staying home. Our Thanksgiving will be much smaller than usual. Just my parents and my sister's family. Hopefully next year will be back to normal.

Going to mom’s. My sister, and brother and his girlfriend will be there. We plan to eat outside to try to keep things as safe as we can. I have to confess I’m a bit nervous about it because my brother and his girlfriend are around a lot more people than the rest of us are.
Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

Having a quiet Thanksgiving with my sister, brother-in-law and their two sons (we all live in the same house). We will be doing a video call with my Dad and grandma, so that’ll be nice. Also, I did two Thanksgiving shows this week (yes, I now have two different radio programs). If you’d like to listen to either one, I’ve put links below. This is the show I did for the station in Washington (where I now live): www.spreaker.com/user/4485607/the-mixs-2020-thanksgiving-show-part-1And this is the show I did for the station in Wisconsin, which I still do shows for even though I’ve moved: www.spreaker.com/user/4485607/the-mixs-2020-thanksgiving-show-part-2Hope you all have a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! That is awesome André DiMera. I look forward to listening. I'm watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Sad without any attendees. When my mother was a little girl, she lived on the upper West side of New York, and she would go to the yard where they inflated the balloon characters and staged the floats. What a sight that must have been for a child to see.
