You know he has to come back because they made him Maggie's son. I do like the idea that peopl are showing up onscreen, even briefly, like Justin and Adrienne, and if Dan has to leave, even briefly, so we can afford to see the ones we really miss, I'll take what I can get. I have really enjoyed my trip down nostagia lane these last couple of months, even if the writers haven't given us the best these vets have to offer.
