I am liking the banter between Jen and Dan as well. It's a nice change of pace on the show and very welcomed by me. I think Jen is a better match for Dan than his past relationships on the show. The last relationship he had with a woman where they were truly friends was Chelsea (like them or hate them, I believe it's the truth). Only this time, there isn't any inappropriateness that looms over them. He had that fling with Kate and then him and Chloe began as cheaters and I never felt anything more than a physical connection between the two.
Jennifer/ Dan and Victor/ Maggie show that the writers are capable of romantic buildup, but choose not to execute it the majority of the time. That is very disappointing. I have never been stuck on Jack and Jen and have enjoyed her in other relationships before. Daniel and her would make a sweet pair. So far, so good.

....it wouldn't be too much of a stretch for him to have found a way to fake his death. If I remember correctly,Carly didn't stay in the room after she stabbed him,so how does she know he's really gone? Silly!! You know no one is REALLY dead in Salem. So far, only 3 people that I know of are FOR SURE dead and that's Tom, Alice, and Mickey. My mother stopped watching years ago, and when I update her she always asks "Has Stefano died again?" Makes me laugh every time.

I do admit, I like the Lawrence/Jack scenario.
Yesterday's dart scene was actually pretty cute. I agree, Daniel is making an emotional connection with Jenn, and not a physical one. Those are the relationships I do root for. I am enjoying this relationship.

Okay, so I don't ff them. Yet. It's actually nice to see him NOT groping someone regularly. I swear though if he isn't tender and sweet with her, instead of hot and hunky, when the physical stuff starts I will write him off for good.

I wasn't sure about this pairing, but the more scenes I see them in together, the more I like them and find myself rooting for them.
During the dart scenes the other day I was totally take aback by this one smile that Daniel gave Jennifer. I have always thought him to be a good looking guy but when she wa talking about him being a dork for wanting to play darts he kind of slightly looked to the side and flashed this amazing smile I have never seen before. Yup, I am slowly hopping on the Daniel/Jennifer bandwagon!

I'll happily board the FRIENDSHIP train, but not the love train. Not yet. I'm digging my heals in on that one.

I loved it when he told her she should smile more often, she has a pretty smile. There was nothing pretentious about that comment. He wasn't hitting on her, he was just making a statement of fact and he understood she needed to hear it.

Why can't more of the men just say nice things without it being a come on?

Add me to the list of peeps who are surprised to be enjoying them so much! They are just so at ease. These are 2 characters that never really registered on my radar, but now I can't take my eyes off them when they are in scenes together. I shockingly say, "I want more Dan and Jennifer!"

You're right,I don't know WHAT I was thinkin' when I said that, lol.Seems for a while that Stefano was dying every other week, lol.I believe Stephen Nichols said it best on Soap Talk "No one is ever dead-dead,everyone on Days is Soap Dead"lol.

^^^There was a movie in the 80s called "Soapdish" staring Sally Field and Kevin Kline. If you haven't seen it, SEE IT TODAY!!!!!! It is the most awesome movie about soaps EVER. Besides the fact that there are lots of cameos, it's totally hilarious. It's one of my most favorite movies of all time.
