Chloe and Chad immediately spot Phillip & Melanie sitting at the table with Victor and Kate.
Chloe is the first to reach the table.
Chloe: "My my my. What a surprise finding all of you here..........together."
Chad: "Melanie - what's going on here?"

Phillip takes Chloe aside..."Sweetie, it's not what it looks like."
Melanie: "Chad, it's not what you are thinking"
Phillip: "Mom and Dad invited me to have dinner with them tonight... I had no idea that Melanie would be here!"
Melanie: "Kate invited me to dinner to discuss a business proposition... I had no idea that Phillip would be here as well!!"
Chad: "Any kind of proposition from Kate is bad new. What does she want?"
Chloe: "It looks like you are having dinner with your ex and your parents. But knowing your parents, I am sure that you had no clue. They were probably hoping that I would come in, see you with Melanie and go all postal. But I trust you and our love, so I am not going to let it bother me. Nicole and I will just go over here to our table and enjoy a nice dinner. I will see you later at home, sweetie. Be sure and give Kate and Victor my love!"

Meanwhile - back at their apartment:
Sami: "What's the matter Lucas? You're really on edge tonight about something."
Lucas: "I don't know. I just have a bad feeling about something."
Sami: "What?"
Lucas: "I don't know. Something just doesn't feel right. Kinda like when you were offered the promotion"
Sami: "Don't be silly Lucas. We haven't haven't heard from or seen your mom in a month."
Lucas: "I know"

Fedex guy: Package for Samantha Brady
Sami takes the package
Sami: what is this?
She opens it up and it is a diamond tennis bracelet and the card says "Love EJ"

Sami: Lucas, I have NO idea.
Lucas: Right, EJ just send you a diamond tennis bracelet with the card "Love EJ" and you have no idea.
Sami: Lucas, I told you... I have no idea why EJ would send me this bracelet. But I am telling you this, there is NOTHING going on between me and EJ. I am sending this back immediately!!

Nicole: Chloe I can't believe you are going to leave Phillip over there with Melanie.
Chloe: Why not? She is with Chad now and Phillip & I are secure in our ralationship. Besides, it has to driving Kate crazy that I didn't start screeching like a fishwife to see Phillip & Melanie together.

Rafe is walking down by the waterfront when he sees a boat in the distance. He wonders about it for a moment but then dismisses it and keeps walking. Meanwhile Lucas is walking around Salem Place looking for a gift for Sami. From out of nowhere someone grabs him and knocks him out!
