Hi, everyone.
Today is an exciting day for me because it is the twentieth anniversary of when I started writing my book series. On August 7, 2000, I sat down as a bored teenager and started typing a novel that involved a family of characters who I had created for a short story in eighth grade. In twenty years, that novel has grown into an ever continuing series of eighty-five novels and counting. I have also dabbled in other types of writing such as moralistic fairy tales and screenwriting. Finally, I have learned to self-publish and am starting to strengthen my marketing skills. If you are interested in the series that started my writing journey, below is a promo video for the first four books of the series (by Days of Our Lives standards, this video would be the fall sweeps video). Enjoy!

Congrats! How quickly do you write your books? Heroicmuse, it really depends on how much time I have. In high school, I was finishing about a book a month. However, those early books were very choppy and didn't have the storyline flow and character development that they do now. That's why I'm rewriting them before putting them out on the market for people to buy and read. Nowadays, I usually manage to put out maybe two of the rewrites per year. In addition to that, I usually average one or two brand new books each year. So anywhere from three to four books over a year is the answer, I guess. I am more productive in the summer since my current job allows me to have the summer months off, so I write nonstop from June until about mid-August, which usually results in about one finished book per summer. The rest of the time, it can take an entire school year for me to finish just one book. I've been lucky this year. Being quarantined eradicated my commute and some of my work stresses from March up through May, so there was additional time to write that I don't normally have during those months.
