Sorry this is being posted late.
Allie went into labor, Jack and Gwen moved into the Dimera mansion, Ciara and Claire decided to work together, and Ben's captor was revealed this week on Days of Our Lives. heroicmuse and I are joined by Andyroo to debate Nicole being in the delivery room, if Allie will change her mind about the baby, the new Dimera quadrangle, and if Eve's actions are entertaining or ridiculous?

Nice job @andyroo, heroicmuse and ProudTVJunkie. The truth is, Allie didn't need a birth coach at all. She had a medical doctor attending. It was just manufactured drama. Eve's vendetta feels false and way too late. I guess you could say revenge is a dish best served cold, but if she was going to take revenge on Ben, it should have been soon after Paige died, not years later. And I agree that there is no reason to have Ciara killed, except for Ben to understand the pain of losing someone he loved so much.

Great job guys.
Honestly, Sami being in the room was only going to make matters worse for Allie. The only persons in the room when the baby is born should be the parents and doctors. If both parents aren't available, then it should be who the one giving birth wants....not someone who THINKS they should be in there.
Given Nicole's history with Sami, yes, it makes for more drama. However, ever since Allie came back to town, Nicole has been the only one that she has really opened up to and listened to. It makes sense that Allie would want her there. Also, after the baby was born, I believe that Sami would have pushed Allie to hold the baby and it was clear that Allie was struggling enough with that decision. She didn't need Sami in there compounding it.
The Dimera quadrangle has just gotten ridiculous. I don't trust Gwen and believe that she has ulterior motives. it's clear the writers are pushing "Jake" and Gabi towards each other and it looks like they may be leaning on a Chad and Gwen thing.
And Eve.....this whole revenge thing just doesn't make sense. Why wait so long? The Dimeras would bide their time, but they didn't strike years down the road. Why bring Ciara and Abigail into the mix? And why the hell would Rolf be helping her? This whole thing just feels contrived and a way to keep Ben and Ciara at the forefront.....as well as Abigail and Chad.

Nicole is wrong just in the bases that she’s nicole at this stage I don’t think she made one right decision or had honest motives in the least Allie didn’t need anyone in the room at the end of the day she chose to hurt Sami and that was all it was to be spiteful Nicole isn’t that wonderful of a person gmab I don’t like eve so I struggle to sympathize with a loss of a daughter whom she hurt before her death in a really disgusting way Eve is gross and I never liked her I like her less in this storyline as I don’t enjoy graphic torture scenes
