Ben distrusted Claire's motives for wanting to get close to Ciara, Gabi waited for Jake's DNA results, Lucas struggled with how to help Allie, and Kristen returned to Salem!
heroicmuse and I were joined by fluffysmom to debate Kristen's return, Lucas' reaction, Sarah's fury, and who they'd buy a one-way bus ticket for out of Salem.
Don't forget to take the poll about Jake's real identity!

I personally don’t care if jake is stefan He can get on that bus and take gabi with him so I don’t have to hear the name again
I’m on the fence with Ben He’s concerned fair enough and yes he didn’t demand anything but hope treated him the same way and he knew how it felt He also is marrying into Ciara’s family knowing fully well that they try and support one another and how they would usually rally around a sick family member
I would think being in her shoes he’d try to feel where she’s coming from
On the other hand I don’t think Claire has changed and maybe he sees that as we all saw how he struggled without his meds after five minutes
I also think Ben is a control freak and he is trying to dictate the situation
I don’t think Lucas reacted badly at all If anything he asked all the right questions and Allie didnt have an answer and acted out which added fuel to the fire She wants to insist she’s grown up but she’s too much of a child to tell her mother she’s expecting and can’t answer valid questions nor is she willing to talk properly about it And worst of all she confides in Nicole if all ppl the woman who kidnapped her little sister As for the possibility of her being raped I really hope they don’t go there because she’s not acting like a girl who was raped so it wouldn’t sit right as a story for me She’s just an overgrown child who took money and advice from the town prostitute aka her grandmother and now she is struggling with the consequences Her childish notion that rafe will just take her baby without asking him and without telling the father are just stupid If she wants a better reaction from her dad she needs to smarten up and start acting her age My sympathy for her is in the dictionary somewhere between sh*t and syphilis
I thought Sarah was a bit harsh on Xander He did offer to move out so when she told him to I took it as her taking him up on the offer However his heart was in the right place but her emotions are so raw it’s like walking on eggshells with her I wish she’d see a grief counselor as it was pointed out she lost two babies in a short span of time

Excellent roundtable heroicmuse , ProudTVJunkie , and fluffysmom . I agree with this response from fluffysmom and couldn't have said it better myself: "I'm already tired of Gwen so she can join Chad on that bus. It always rubs me the wrong way when a new random character arrives in Salem and ends up in too many scenes. I'm not interested in Gwen. I hope she leaves before she ends up revealing that she's the long lost child of some poor Salemite." As for Lucas, I don't think he's overreacting. I remember being 21 and far from prepared for life, but at least I had a strong sense of responsibility. On the flip side, if I were the parent of an irresponsible, immature pregnant daughter of 20 or 21 years old, I'd probably act the same way as Lucas. Allie is lucky to have parents who care. She can't come running to family for help and then say she doesn't want her parents involved. Lucas has absolutely nothing to apologize for. He's being a caring dad. Heck, he gave up a serious relationship with Chloe (for which I'm grateful frankly) to try and help Allie straighten out her life. Whether she asked for his help or not, he's going above and beyond to be a good father to her.

Allie is completely naive if she really thinks she can have her baby and give it up for adoption without her mom ever finding out. That may have worked if she hadn't returned to Salem and talked to multiple family members about it.
It looks like the bus may be half full on its way out of Salem.
