I don't know how to feel about it. I was expecting/hoping that Chad and Abby would go back to Paris. I haven't been interested in them during this return.

I don't know that I like or dislike either actress. It's that they play the character so differently. It's jarring. And if Abby is coming back already - only guessing based on Chad's return on Friday - it's really jarring so soon after Kate Mansi left.
I think my issue with Marci is that she played the character during that HORRIBLE storyline where Stefan fell in love with "Gabi." As long as we don't relive that, I can probably handle the return.

I'm so tired of the Abigail revolving door. These two actresses play this character so differently that it really does feel like two completely different characters.
I used to somewhat enjoy Kate Mansi but I've hated this brief stint in Salem and Chad has become completely unlikable.
Maybe Marci Miller's return will be a positive change but right now I wouldn't mind if they sent Chad and Abby back to Paris for good.

I didn't mind Marci once I got used to her. I liked the outfits she wore as Abigail better than the ones Kate Mansi wears in the role. She actually wears more than just black and white! I also liked her portrayal of Abigail's mental illness better than the way Kate portrays it. The one thing I'm not looking forward to though is love scenes between Marci and Billy Flynn. They always made me cringe because the chemistry wasn't there, and it always seemed like two friends who were trying too hard to make everyone believe they love each other. The way those scenes were played last time was too cutesy for me.

I don't know why but I just didn't like Kate Mansi as Abby. She is a decent actress but I've always liked Marci as Abby and enjoy seeing her onscreen.

I haven't enjoyed Abby and Chad's return to Salem. Unless there's a big change in the stories for them I'd prefer they return to Paris.
