How was everyone's Memorial Day?
First and foremost, thank you to the men and women serving in the armed forces and keeping Americans safe.
Our community had a bbq restaurant drop off a full bbq meal at noontime: chicken, brisket, Texas toast, baked beans, mac and cheese. A lotta food. It was good and not expensive.
Late this afternoon, Ron made cocktails for a neighbor on the spur of the moment and they returned the favor by making us a plate of food they were grilling. The way it should be.
We were expecting a downpour and got just a misting.

It was raining off on and on and we didn't really do much of anything. Your neighborhood sounds so fun. I wish ours was like that. Glad you had a good time.

We had heavy rain and thunderstorms off and on today. There are currently flash flood warnings.
