Kate Mansi to Exit ‘Days of our Lives’ This MonthAfter her character returned from a trip to Africa in March, fans of Kate Mansi were hopeful that her time in Salem would be an extended one. Sadly, Mansi is once again departing “Days of our Lives” as Abigail DiMera later this month. Although specific details surrounding her exit aren’t yet known, we can say that the character will be making a HUGE splash when she turns on one of her own in upcoming episodes. Mansi’s final airdate was unknown at press time.

I am okay with her leaving only if she takes Chad with her. They are boring enough together and he's doubly vacuous on his own. I don't care for Chad or Billy Flynn.

Abigail and Chad's return has seemed like wasted air time. I would have loved to have seen more story between Abigail, Jack, and Jennifer but it just never really happened. Instead they concentrated on the Dimera Enterprises story and it put me to sleep.

I agree the return of Chad and Abby was a disappointment, they could've done better. I'm not a Kate Mansi fan but I think she did pretty well with what she had to work with.
