I’m disappointed to see Sarah going to this extreme. It was one thing for her to run off, maybe fearing giving up the baby she thinks of as her own to a psycho like Kristen but hitting someone over the head and holding them captive is more like something Kristen herself would do.

I agree, wendylou. I was disappointed when Sarah committed the classic soap opera crime of kidnapping the baby because she couldn't bear to give her up. But now we have to add violence against someone she used to love into the equation. I hope this is all resolved soon. I would like to have Sarah find out that she is pregnant again but this time by Xander. I know a new baby can't replace the real Mickey, but it could help make it easier for her to let go of Rachel and also lead to her patching things up with Xander.

I hate this because it's boring and cartoonish. We've seen this story many times. I would have found it a lot more interesting to see Sarah give the baby to Brady and Kristen and then try to deal with the aftermath. That could have made for some great emotional scenes.

Hope with Steve? Just plain no. When will this show write a story for Hope that doesn't have her hanging all over a man? It's too late now but I would have loved for her to be written as not needing a man, finding herself, etc., whatever. She could have been a writer's dream, a nearly "clean slate." Instead, she's just continually coming off as "hope"less and desperate.

I think the Hope with Steve is just there to make Kayla jealous and eventually a reconciliation.

Agree. It's lazy writing. Every relationship must have another person interfere. Jealousy is the only reason for a couple to break up or make up. Boring.
Steve and Kayla don't need jealousy to be the struggle that gets them back together. They have a long and complicated relationship. Pick something from that.
