Now that there's fewer places to go and less to do outside the home, what are you doing to pass the time?
How are you keeping your kids entertained?
Share your ideas.

Since no kids, I have been binge watching Netflix, cooking and some food shopping on the weekends. During the week I still go to work. So basically no good ideas. Today I did a little sweeping out the patio as it feels like summer weather is here.

We have a fairly good size back yard We have a sandbox and swings for them and they like it but with frank and John being so young they eat every few hours so food prep and feeding and different nap schedules seem to pass the day For me it’s much less the same as any other day I just can’t take them for a walk for a look into the shops but that’s a bonus for my bank account lol

We've been decluttering and organizing. Monica and I have watched a few movies. Sami has been doing science experiments and cooking but she's getting bored.
A friend of mine has painted two rooms in her house.

The boys were gone last week since it was Spring Break here. They spent that with their dad this year.
We did some deep cleaning in their rooms the week before. This week I told them that they had to do their AMI work and then I was sending them outside to clean the yard - pick up tree limbs and burn out tree stumps.
My youngest is still struggling to understand the reasoning behind social distancing so I had to go a different route to explain that just because we don't fell or act sick doesn't mean that we can do whatever. I finally had to explain how we could cause the death of our neighbor or one of my best friend's daughter. That we could have the germs on us and it be so little that it doesn't affect us, but once we get around either one of those who have no immune system, that little bit of germs could kill them because their bodies can't fight them like ours can. I think he finally got it.

Since I am retired there has not been much change in my routine. I am just trying to combine all errands into one trip to town. I have been watching shows from the 50s and 60s on YouTube. I am enjoying “One Step Beyond” - a Twilight Zone type show.

There hasn't been much change in my routine either. But I love watching tiny house videos on youtube, it's so creative how they build these houses and decorate them.

Last night my girls played D&D with friends via a phone app. It was a fun way for everyone to participate from their homes.

Not a time passer - but I have started using all my fancy soaps and burning all my candles. Things I usually save for “special” occasions.

I love that idea kathyj. Make your home environment more beautiful. Ron finally let me cut his hair. That was fun. He's happy so I'm happy, and he doesn't look like Shaggy anymore.
