Well, folks, St. Patrick’s Day is coming up this Tuesday! Is anyone doing anything for the holiday, either over the weekend, or on the day itself? Me personally, it’s easier to celebrate over the weekend this year since my sister and brother-in-law, who I moved in with last August, both work during the week. My brother-in-law’s gonna make corned beef and cabbage on Sunday. Also, I did my annual St. Patrick’s Day show last week, which is full of two hours of music by Irish artists. If you’d like to listen to it, either over the weekend, or on the actual holiday, you can find it here: www.spreaker.com/user/4485607/the-mixs-2020-st-patricks-day-specialI hope everyone has a great holiday!

Parades and most pubs are going to be closed in Ireland due to the virus and the lock down beginning phase I’ll be at home with the kids regardless cuz that’s life with two toddlers Bacon and cabbage is an every week thing here so it’s not something we make special on the day I think I have Italian on the menu lol One of hubbies mates might call in for a few jars but he’s not a big drinker and we aren’t as much either after kids cuz the hang over isn’t worth it when they are full of beans at 5 am

Our parade and local activities have been cancelled. I'm not sure what's on the menu yet. Enjoy your celebration André DiMera.

We did manage to get brisket, carrots, cabbage but we had to splurge on baby potatoes. No parades here either. Hubs will be using our instant pot this year.

We were going to have a dinner party for St. Pat's Day. But since we're now doing social distancing, it will just be me and Ron. We will have a traditional dinner. Corned beef, cabbage, Irish soda bread. Ron's corned beef is the best I've ever had.

Wishing everyone a Happy St. Patrick's Day. It is rainy and gloomy here. Most St. Patrick's Days are like that for some reason, at least where I live.

Ron's extraordinary corned beef, cabbage and Irish soda bread. So good. We capped off the evening with an Irish coffee.
