Xander and Sarah have been together for 5 minutes and he's already proposing. Ok. Well, they've officially been a couple for a short time but he's been in love with her for a long time and there's a lot of their relationship as friends and co-parents that we never saw because of the time jump.

I get that but it's still rushed IMO. And she didn't seem to even like him for most of their time together. So the one-sided "friendship" makes this potential wedding look even less plausible for me.

They are in-love with each other & have bonded big time over Mickey, why not propose. Why do people have to wait especially as these 2 are not in their twenties?

I am certain the proposal is a set-up for added drama when the truth comes out that Xander was instrumental in the baby switch and has been keeping it a secret all this time.
Orpheus. Bleh.
