What are some of your favorite seasonal songs? Here's one that has been going through my head lately. An oldie by Jim Croce called "It Doesn't Have to Be That Way." I think it's the kind of song André DiMera might like to play when he puts together his holiday show.

I have so many.
I LOVE Carrie Underwood's version of "Do You Hear What I Hear" Alabama's "Christmas in Dixie" Montgomery Gentry's "Merry Chirstmas from the Family" Ray Stevens's "Santa Clause is Watching You" Faith Hill's "Where Are You Christmas" Any Dolly Parton & Kenny Rogers Christmas songs Barbara Mandrell's "It Must Have Been the Mistletoe" - I found this one last year. Brad Paisley's "Kung Pao Buckaroo Holiday"
And then there are the all time kid favorites Alvin & the Chipmunks I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas I'm Getting Nothing for Christmas
The list is so much longer than this tho. I created an entire playlist on Spotify and am always looking for new stuff to add.

You never know, Kpatch, that song just may show up on my Christmas show this year. I have way too many favorites to list, but here are a handful: “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire/Merry Christmas to You)” by Nat King Cole “Same Old Lang Syne” by Dan Fogelberg “Last Christmas” by Wham! “Stille Nacht (Silent Night)” by Mannheim Steamrollee “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” by Savatage/Trans-Siberian Orchestra “Fairytale of New York” by The Pogues featuring Kirsty MacColl “Merry Christmas Everybody” by Slade “The First Noel” by Andy Williams “The Little Drummer Boy” by The Fab Four “”Believe” by Josh Groban

As much as I love Christmas and all the carols I still like fairytale of New York by the pogues Mainly cuz it’s my husbands favorite and he acts like such a grinch but every year he suggests putting up the decorations before the usual time here and he gets more excited now with the kids Silly I know but it makes me laugh

"Little Drummer Boy" is probably my most favorite Christmas song. I doubt there could be any version that I wouldn't like. I know I posted the Bing Crosby & David Bowie version, a medley of The Little Drummer Boy and Peace On Earth they did on Bing's final Christmas TV special.
Here's another version I just found out about, by the Pentatonix.

I love that song, too, UhSir! The version I like most is done by the Beatles tribute band, the Fab Four. There’s also a fascinating version done by the late actor Christopher Lee, who was apparently a fan of metal.

We had a Jim Croce album that was played constantly at our house all year. My mom would also play Barbra Streisand records all the time. She has a few good Christmas songs too I think.

Oh my goodness! I LOVE that Vince Vance song, UhSir! It’s awesome and super underrated! Another one I love is “2000 Miles” by the Pretenders.
