This is one shot what if Sami walked in the pub to see Lucas sitting at the bar considering with a glass of whiskey and she asks him why and comforts him. This is set after Lucas learns of Chloe's betrayal in August 2009.

Brady Pub
Sami walks into the pub to pick up some dinner for herself as Rafe is working and she walks towards bar/counter and sees Lucas with a glass of whiskey.
"Hey what do you think you are doing". Sami asks Lucas coming towards him as he is about to take a sip out of the glass.
"Oh hey Sami and I was going to drink it". Lucas says to his ex wife and best friend.
"That's what I thought. What's going on with you? Why do you need a drink". Sami asks him concerned and takes a seat beside him.
"It's nothing Sami ok". Lucas says to her angrily.
"Lucas I know you too well and you only turn to the bottle when something is going on". Sami goes on to say.
"Ok fine you win as usual something is going on but I don't want to talk about it". Lucas tells her.
"Well I'm not going anywhere so you may as well talk to me its better then turning to booze". Sami explains to him.
"What about the kids". Lucas asks her as Sami looks at his hand.
"Well Johnny is with his idiot of a father and Will and Allie are at my moms. Now where's your wedding ring Lucas is this why your here". Sami tells and asks her friend.
"Yeah you got one thing right EJ is an idiot and so what if it is why I am drinking no one cares about me". Lucas tells Sami.
"That's not true I care about you always have and why would you say something like that. What did your wife oh should I say Ghoul Girl do now". Sami tells and questions him.
"If you really must know she cheated on me with Daniel and it started even before we were married. You happy now you were right I should of listened to you all along". Lucas says to Sami as he starts to cry and she puts her arms around him.
"I'm sorry I pushed you Lucas". Sami tells him.
"It's ok". Lucas tells her.
"Lucas listen to me you don't deserve someone like that you are a loving and caring man and she took that for granted mind you so did I and I'm sorry for all the hurt I caused you". Sami states to him.
"That's not true but thank you". Lucas replies.
"That's it your coming home with me its going to be hard for you to go back there tonight and I want to support you". Sami tells him.
"OK fine and thank you for caring". Lucas replies as they stand up and Caroline hands Sami food.

That was sweet! Definitely some classic Sami and Lucas! I love that they’re always there for each other, no matter what!

Aww that was so sweet. Sami is always there for Lucas. I wish the showrunners would realize it. Thankyou. She sure is. I agree with you if only the showrunners realised it and didn't ruin them. |

Lovely. I wish you'd continue this because I want to see what happens next lol Thank you and I was only planning it as oneshot but who knows what the future could bring. I'm just focusing on writing Love That Was Never Lost right now as that story is going to be a massive one that gets updated daily. Thank you for your support and kind words |
