I'm glad Philip finally admitted everything except it was to a door! If only Chloe could have heard at least part of Philip's declaration of love. Too bad the limo didn't have a flat tire on the way over. Yay for a 7 days a week story!

I love the story. So Phillip and Chloe. They just have the worst timing don't they? It always seemed to me like they did and neither one wants to be the one to take the risk and tell the other how they feel. Can't wait to see what happens next.

This story is making me miss them so much. I really wish they'd come back to Days.

Rachel: Are you ready to go? The limo is waiting.
Philip: Yeah, just about. Let me say goodbye to Parker and get my things.
Rachel: Where’s Chloe?
Philip: She’s giving Parker's nanny some instructions. She’ll be right out.


PARKER’S ROOM

Chloe: This is Parker's favorite video.
Lucinda: Is something wrong, Miss Chloe? You don’t look happy.
Chloe: It’s nothing.
Lucinda: The woman out there talking to Mr. Kiriakis ... who is she?
Chloe: His girlfriend.
Lucinda: Oh, I see. Is she nice?
Chloe shrugged.
Chloe: I guess.
Lucinda: Ah. I understand. You’re in love with him, aren’t you?
Chloe: What? No.
Chloe wiped a tear away.
Lucinda: Listen to me girl. Don’t sit around on the sidelines crying. If you want him, go after him.
Parker: She’s right! Listen to her, Ma!
Chloe: But he’s happy with her.
Parker: My baloney has a first name. It’s O.S.C.A.R.
Lucinda: Maybe so, but only because he doesn’t know how you feel about him.
Chloe: How could he not know? I’ve dropped a million hints.
Parker: He’s just a fraidy cat.
Lucinda: Hints are no good. Men are clueless. You need to hit them over the head.
Parker: Yikes. Maybe I don’t wanna grow up.
Chloe: I’ve never really been good at letting him know how I feel.
Parker: Meet my mother -- the master of understatement.
Lucinda: I’ll bet the other woman lets him know.
Chloe: Ouch.
Lucinda: This is no time to be coy, Miss Chloe.
Chloe: But suppose he rejects me.
Parker: Are you freaking kidding me? Weren’t you there when he was kissing you last night?
Lucinda: I can’t speak for Mr. Kiriakis, but I do know he really cares for you. Before you moved here, he talked about you all the time.
Parker: All. The. Time.
Chloe: He did?
Lucinda: Yes, he did. And I’ve seen the way he looks at you. He just needs a little encouragement. Just think about how happy it would make Parker to see the two of you together.
Parker nodded and clapped his little hands together. Chloe smiled and stroked her son’s head.
Chloe: You’re right about that.
Parker: Tell him, Mommy. Just do it.
Chloe: Okay. ... Okay. I’m going to do it. I’m going to tell him.
Parker: Yesss! There is a god!
Philip appeared in the doorway.
Philip: Tell who what?
Parker: Dum da dum dum.
Chloe: Oh, um. I’m going to tell Parker goodbye.
Philip: Me too. Then we’ve got to get going.


THE LIMO TO THE AIRPORT

Chloe sat in the front passenger seat next to the chauffeur, while Philip and Rachel were in the back seat.
Rachel: My company is letting us fly their private jet to Florida. It’s a beautiful airplane. Quiet. Comfortable. Fully stocked bar. ... What’s up? You guys seem subdued. Is everything okay?
Philip: Sure. Just tired.
Rachel: Well, we’ve got a big day ahead of us. I can’t wait to show Chloe off to the bigwigs in the industry. Chloe, they’re going to love you.
Chloe smiled.
Chloe: I hope so.
Rachel: Well, you saved my ass, so you have my undying gratitude.

I love this chapter the baby Parker is so cute! I love how Lucinda pointed out that Philip talked about her all the time! I'm so excited about Chloe telling her how she feels. I can't wait to read MORE!

Kpatch, you're killing me. I'm loving this story AND can't seem to stop reading all the old ones I've just found. I just finished reading First Love... and thought I'd be done but now there's a sequel??? I'll never leave this house! NO - I will. I'm going to save that one for later. I WILL! I WILL! I WILL!
