Thanks for posting this, canaryfan98 . I agree about Alice and Steve and Vivian, but not much else, especially Sami, EJ, Marlena and John. Seems like the ranking had more to do with airtime than anything. |

I'm okay with all of those but it's absurd that they put Ben and/or Ciara on there in place of Jack, Jennifer, Kayla, Nicole, Hope...my gosh, so many others. These two have barely been on Days at all. Ciara is a horrible character on her own.

I agree about Ben and Ciara
Don’t belong there at all
I’d take victor and Maggie on their place
And I’m not a fan of Marlena I’d replace her with Tony/ Andre
The rest I’m ok with maybe swap John for hope but he doesn’t bother me too much

I think these lists cater to particular fan groups. Marlena and John have a rabid group of fans so I don't think you will see a list without them.

Ben and Ciara definitely aren't in the top 10 unless someone has only recently started watching the show.

Marlena I get she predates a lot of the characters on this show I mean she existed before the Brady's did. I say this as someone who's not much of a fan. John OTOH not so much yeah he's been on decades but Marlena existed without him I don't think John could exist without Marlena. |

I find John more enjoyable when he’s in scenes without her.... that’s just my personal opinion
I can’t stand Deirdre hall as an actress cuz I think she’s a diva and never liked marlenas character, but cuz she’s been on for a long time she made the list, Maggie and Julie have been on long too but they didn’t out of the 3 it should have been Maggie for me anyways

Oh I find John more enjoyable away from Marlena too but Marlena is a Days icon I don't care that much for her either but I get why she would be on the list.
Maggie/Julie should be on the list over Ben/Ciara/EJ

I thought Stefano would be higher on the list, and agreed with what they wrote about him.
Ben & Ciara definitely should not have been on that list.
I wouldn't have ranked John & Marlena as high as they were.
Victor and Caroline should have been on the list

The list would have made more sense if they has set a time period to report on. It is hard to distill 50+ years of characters in a list of 10.
