Vanessa Williams to Return to Days of Our Lives! Vanessa Williams just returned for a brief moment as Valerie Grant on Days of Our Lives in the early part of May. Her character went back to D.C where she's currently working on a job offer she accepted. It seems we are about to get some more of Valerie as Williams commented on a recent Instagram post by her costars. Her comment read, "Yassss! Hooray! I believe #ValerieReturns too! Lovely!" There's no word yet on when Valerie will be back on screen or how long she will be sticking around. Soap Opera News |

YES!!! I hope it's for more than 2 days this time. I didn't like the rushed way they wrapped up her relationship with Abe and then shuffled her off screen.
