OLD SHACK
TONY: John, who is this? If this woman isn't Marlena, then who is she?
JOHN: Her name is Hattie Adams.
TONY: Who's that?
JOHN: An exact look-ali9ke of Marlena. I'll explain more on the way. Come on.
Tony followed John out of the shack and the two headed back into Salem
DiMERA MANSION
LAWRENCE: André, just the man I wanted to see. Now, let's get right down to business, shall we?
ANDRE: Sorry, but I'm afraid that we won't be doing any business together.
LAWRENCE: What do you mean? What about our deal? What about you giving me DiMera Enterprises?
ANDRE: Oh, come on! Did you really think I would give you control over DiMera Enterprises? No, no, I just used you so that I could have DiMera Enterprises all to myself! I've been manipulating this situation from the very beginning! You're nothing but a pawn in my game of chess, Alamain! And, finally, I've got you right where I want you! I own everything you"ve ever wanted! I've even got your once-faithful companion, Ivan!
LAWRENCE: No! Please, Ivan! Please, tell me this isn't true!
Ivan stared coldly at Lawrence.
IVAN: I'm afraid it is true, Mr. Alamain.
LAWRENCE: Traitor!
ANDRE: One more step and Ivan shoots you dead! Don't you see, Alamain? I've won! I've won! I'm the new ruler of the DiMera Empire! But that's only the start! We're only at the beginning of my most devious plan! Soon, I shall have the whole of Salem...no, not just Salem, but the whole world! I will have the entire wrold at my feet, begging for mercy! The DiMera Empire rises! All hail your king, André DiMera!
André started laughing. His cold, evil laughter echoed throughout the DiMera Mansion. We zoom out to an outer view of the Mansion.
NARRATOR (VO): And so it came to pass that the players took their final places, making ready the events that were to come...
DiMERA THRONEROOM
We see the livingroom of the DiMera Mansion, which has now been converted into a throneroom. André is sitting on his throne, being served wine by Ivan. Lawrence is tied to a chair with duct tape over his mouth.
NARRATOR (VO): The madman, sat in his empire od blood and death. Little knowing of the glory he would achieve...
WOODS
John and Tony are walking into Salem.
NARRATOR (VO): Whilst his saviors wandered about the wilderness, hoping to find some end to this inevitable torture...
DiMERA MANSION BASEMENT
Bart and Dr. Rolf are standing over a body covered by a white sheet.
NARRATOR (VO): Elsewhere, the idiots and fools dreamt of a shining new future. One now doomed never to happen. For this was far more than the beginning of André's reign of terror...
DARK ROOM
An undisclosed, but very dark, location. The Narrator is revealed to be Celeste.
CELESTE: This day was the day upon which the whole of Salem would change forever. This was the day...the DiMera's were victorious!
Stefano enters, carrying two wine glasses. he hands one to Celeste.
STEFANO: To a new day for the DiMera Empire! May this day be known now and forevermore as the Day of the DiMera's!
Stefano and Celeste raise their glasses, drink from them, and laugh maniacally.
