I would say for me it is not even close...Bo and Hope have to be the most iconic couple in Days of our Lives history when it comes to ratings and overall popularity.

Not a fan of julie so I wouldn’t chose her and Doug
Tom and Alice are a great pairing as well

Other couples that could be considered iconic are Jack & Jennifer, John & Marlena and Abe & Lexie

Steve/Kayla their wedding bumped Y&R from the #1 spot which has held for ages.
Bo/Hope are an HM although they have more longevity than Steve/Kayla who were gone for decades while Bope were a mainstay.
Doug/Julie could qualify being the 1st supercouple but still gone for many years.

Bo and Hope of course. Even though I love Steve and Kayla more, I recognize the greatness of the Bo and Hope pairing. Then it would be Roman/John and Marlena, then Shane and Kim.

Steve and Kayla definitely were iconic back in the 80s but as far as couples back then anyway who were of icon status you also had Justin and Adrienne as well as Melissa and Pete

If you're talking about icons, it has to be Tom and Alice, the couple who anchor the entire series.
If you were talking about super couple romances, for me it's Steve and Kayla.

Yes Tom and Alice would be icons yes God rest their souls but yes they may have anchored the series but for couples who took this show into a whole new direction and took this show to the next level then all the couples mentioned could be considered icons

I've loved a lot of Days couple but if I had to pick the most iconic, it's Bo and Hope. Hands down. I agree. Bo and Hope's romance is the reason I started watching in the mid 80's. |
