I don't really see how a former pop singer who was on the show 25 years ago is going to boost ratings. I'm having flashbacks from the 80s. Could Neil Curtis be far behind? Is Neil Daniel's father?

That's what I was thinking Kpatch. How many fans still remember Liz or were even watching back then? I think I remember her mostly for singing Friends & Lovers. Why does anyone think she'd bring in any viewers besides her friends and relatives? Just what we need more over 50 cast members. Where are the people between 25 and 35? Not here.

The only thing I can think is that she will open a club for the younger set to hang out at. She ran a club back then, didn't she? It would be nice to have an established doctor back in town if Neil comes back also. It would give Marlena something to do while John is in jail besides do what all Salem mothers do--meddle in their kids' lives.

I really hope that they don't bring her back. There are already way too many older characters on this show. TPTB really need to work on bringing on some mid 20's to early 30's characters on the show especially some children of some of the legacy characters on the show. Instead of bringing on these pointless characters they should be trying to bring back some of the younger characters like Philip, Chloe, Shawn, Belle, Stephanie, Chelsea, Max, Nick or even Nathan. Days is severely lacking in the younger character category and especially in the children of legacy character category. If Days were to bring back characters like Shawn and Belle and Philip then that would open up more interesting storyline opportunities for legacy characters like Bo, Hope, Victor and Kate and anyone else who is connected to them by blood.

I completely agree Karebr. There are no characters between 25 and 35. Sami is probably 35-ish but most of the cast is over 40. I have always enjoyed the generational scenes. It would definitely open up the storyline possibilities for the vets to have their adult children return. Even if they could only get a 6 month commitment from some of the actors, some great storylines could happen.

I would love to see Shawn/Belle/Philip/Chloe/Mimi/Rex come back. Even Chelsea and Max. I am in the 25-35 demographic and lucky for them I am a Bo and Hope and Jack and Jen fan thanks to watching when I was little but other than that nothing is really holding me to the show. They need to work on bringing in the younger crowd because if they don't the show will not have any staying power. I like Chad and Abby and Will and Gabi are finally getting interesting. At this point I am sick of Melanie and she can take a long walk off of a short pier.

I remember she had a thing with Don Diamont ( I think that was his real name) and they used to use the song "I'm on fire" by Bruce Springsteen during their scenes... Otherwise I am a blank on her history..
