Sheri Anderson Announces Exit from Days of Our Lives Team!


Days of Our Lives' scriptwriter, Sheri Anderson announced that she's no longer with the show. Many would be aware that, Anderson was with Days of Our Lives on and off from 1983 - 2019 in several different capacities including; Co-head Writer, Head Writer, Writer, Associate Head Writer and Script Writer. Anderson noted, "For those who are asking, I am no longer on the show, but had another great run there. My final script will air on Friday, March 15. Please tune in!"

Anderson's work also includes her time on daytime dramas such as; Guiding Light, Falcon Crest, General Hospital, Santa Barbara and Another World. We wish her all the best!

Good. Her writing, or whoever's been writing the show for the past few years stinks.

Sheri is just a script writer/consultant.

I forgot that she was one of the writers. If I remember correctly she was one of the writers for the supercouples back in the day.

I get what you're saying wendylou. That's why I have such conflicting feelings about the Ben/Ciara pairing. But they seem to have the best chemistry to me of all the couples right now. Robert Scott Wilson is so talented, and you can see Ben trying so hard to better himself. That being said, of course his chance to redeem himself in the real world would not exist. I think the struggle of good vs evil though is really what they are trying to put across here and they are using a serial killer character to do it.

I agree with you. The head writer isn't the only one doing the writing and coming up with ideas.

The part that will likely suffer with her leaving is the historical tie ins that I enjoy so much. For example would the writers who've only been on the show a few years even know that Noelle Curtis exists?

I agree but apparently many do not. There is a huge amount of "CIN" fans. there was a vote on the DOOL app for favorite couple & they had a huge lead, only challenger being "Jarlena".

I would not care for Ben at all if it were not for RSW. Because he allows us to see the many layers of Ben and he becomes this character, and he does it so well.

I appreciate that RSW doesn't phone his scenes in unlike other actors but I don't care for Ben anymore not after this stint.

I actually liked him until this hamfisted redemption tour.
